WageSight

A data-led hyper-local news wire

The local economy, grounded — seen by the public, cited as ground truth by AI.

WageSight turns millions of official ONS and HMRC data points into credible local stories, and serves every figure — traceable to source — to the AI systems people now ask.

01

Bringing life to ‘news deserts’

We distribute data-led stories to local media, filling the news desert that took root after the media's retreat from the towns and cities of the UK.

02

How it works

WageSight ingests and manages millions of official data points a month and applies best-practice data engineering to generate credible, accurate, unique stories for 391 UK places.

03

WageSight Grounding

Grounding is the connector that grounds AI in real local-economy data — reducing inaccuracy and hallucination for organisations that communicate, lobby or research the local economy.

About

Campaign Salience was founded on a simple premise: influence belongs to those who can generate narratives at scale. Newsrooms are smaller; platforms — and now AI — shape how the public makes meaning. We build systems that help set the terms of debate, not react to it.

Founded by Paul Hebden — a data, communications and media strategist with a background in think tanks, research and journalism — Campaign Salience combines think-tank analysis, newsroom instinct and data engineering into narrative infrastructure that is scalable, repeatable and durable.
